Most people dont realize that the Belmont neighborhood was developed around the first trolley in East Portland in 1888. From there, it has grown to be the vibrant neighborhood weve come to love, while maintaining its hometown feel.
When you come to visit us, youll find us just down the street from H Mart, a Korean grocery store, and close by eateries such as Mai Thai Portland and the Pied Cow Coffeehouse. And if you need to stock up on nickels, were a short stroll down Belmont Street from Electric Castles Wunderland, one of the original spots for nickel arcade games in Portland.

Direct Deposits Now Appear Sooner In Your Account
You may have noticed some exciting changes in your account lately. One of the most frequent questions we get asked is why some financial institutions can deliver your paycheck one to two days sooner than others. So, we thought if the big guys can deliver that kind of service, and we are KNOWN for our superior member service, we should be able to deliver the goods as well. And now we can. As of April 4th, your paycheck and other scheduled payments may be posted to your account up to two or more days sooner than you are scheduled to receive them. While this is a benefit that many have been asking for and is becoming common with financial institutions across the country, it is an all-in program. We are not able to âchange backâ the payment date for only you. What does this change mean? Fundamentally, nothing changes. The car payment, the mortgage, the electricity and gas bills are still due exactly as they were, you just have your money a little sooner. If you receive your salary direct deposited bimonthly, you will get each deposit up to two days earlier than scheduled. The amount of time between the two deposits has not changed. Nor has the time between monthly Social Security payments changed, so there is no need to change how you budget.
