BAYTREE The Space Coast Credit Union is hosting a job fair between 11 a.m- 5 p.m. Wednesday at its corporate headquarters building at 8045 N. Wickham Road, Baytree.

The credit union will be recruiting for full and part-time positions in its branches, its member service call center, and its departments for loan processing, sales, accounting, underwriting, and credit solutions. Banking experience is not necessarily required, as long as applicants have qualities like curiosity, eagerness to learn, goal orientation, and a love of working with others.

Space Coast Credit Union Completes First Phase Of Headquarters Expansion Project

MELBOURNE, FL âSpace Coast Credit Union celebrated the recent completion of its new 500-vehicle parking garage located at its headquarters on Wickham Road in Melbourne. Instead of the standard ribbon cutting, 135 SCCU employees and Board Members formed a human logo, organized into the shape of SCCUâs Memberâs Watchdog shield, on the garage roof top. Local drone operator, Planet Inhouse, took aerial photos and videoed the logo formation.

The photo op and celebration signified the end of phase one in the credit unionâs $30 million headquarters expansion project designed to support its continued growth across the state of Florida.

âMuch has changed over the last 65 years as weâve grown from just 28 members with $372 in assets in 1951 to the 300,000-plus members with $3.8 billion in assets we serve today,â said Timothy M. Antonition, Executive Vice President of Retail Operations and Chief Operating Officer of SCCU. âOne thing, however, has and always will remain constant â we are a member-owned organization existing solely to serve and protect our members in all aspects of their financial lives.â

SCCUâs headquarters currently houses over 300 full-time employees, however the three new building expansions will allow the credit union to add up to 600 new jobs over time. The project also aims to include significant improvements to traffic patterns along a heavily-populated portion of Wickham Road.
