Who currently maintain a mortgage are reminded that,
Where applicable, real property taxes are to be paid annually by March 31st.
Failure to pay real property taxes is unlawful under the Real Property Tax Act and represents
a violation of the agreement with the Credit Union and may affect your mortgage balance.
Evidence of payment is required by October 31, 2022.
Failure to provide proof of payment will result in the total amount outstanding added to your mortgage balance.
If you have not paid your taxes, you should make arrangements to pay in order to avoid penalties
that may be imposed under The Bahamas Real Property Tax Act.
